Accommodation Grading System
To get any
grading, the
property must meet
or exceed the Canada Select standards of Cleanliness, Comfort and
Safety
Properties voluntarily participate in the Canada Select
Rating program. Overall cleanliness and state of repair is a
fundamental requirement of the rating program. Properties are grouped
into 6 categories based upon shared characteristics such as general
location, facilities, services and market appeal - rating criteria is
different within each category. Properties are then rated based on the
extent of physical facilities and services, amenities and the quality
offered.
